COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Holmglen called at New Plymouth yesterday and sailed later for Port Waikato. She will load at Dunedin on Tuesday for New Plymouth where she is due via ports on May 11. (Hooker Bros.).

The Totara arrived at New Plymouth yesterday. She will unload to-day and proceed to Westport and Gisborne. (U.S.S. Co.).

The Orepuki loaded at Dunedin on Friday for New Plymouth, where she is due via ports to-day. She will sail for Wellington later in the day. (U.S.S. Co.).

The Karepo will load at Greymouth for Wellington, Auckland and New Plymouth, being due at New Plymouth tomorrow. (U.S.S. Co.). The Ronaki is due at New Plymouth with general cargo from Onehunga tomorrow. (Northern Co.). The Kaimai will load at Dunedin tomorrow for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth on May 13. (U.S.S. Co.).

MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS.

NEW ZEALAND STAR TO-MORROW.

The New Zealand Star, now on her maiden voyage, which was delayed at Port Chalmers will now berth at New Plymouth to-morrow. She will discharge and load at New Plymouth from May 1 to May 8 and will then proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, Gisborne -and Auckland to load. She will sail from Auckland on May 25 for London, where she is due on July 1 via Cape Horn. PORT FAIRY ON SUNDAY. The Port Fairy will arrive at New Plymouth on Sunday from Nelson to •load 10,000 boxes of butter, 5750 crates of cheese and 6200 freight carcases of meat. She will proceed from New Plymouth to Wanganui. OMANA TO LOAD. The intercolonial steamer Omana will load at Newcastle to-day and at Sydney to-morrow for Auckland, Napier, Wellington and New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth on May 10. KARTIGI EN ROUTE. The Kartigi left Melbourne on Tuesday for Auckland, Napier, Wellington and New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth about May 13. LYTTELTON WHISTLING BUOY. The Marine Department advises that the light and whistle buoy off the entrance to Port Lyttelton was removed for overhaul yesterday and will be replaced as soon as possible. An unlighted can-buoy will mark the position in the meantime. SHIPPING MYSTERY SOLVED. The mystery of the British barque, Andellana, which vanished one night from Tacoma Harbour, America, has been solved after 36 years. A diver searching the sea bed for a lost anchor found the hulk of the vessel, with 17 skeletons on board, at the bottom of the bay. The Andellana was believed to have sunk with all hands when the sudden squall sprang up in the night of January 14, 1899 TIRI TIRI FOG SIGNAL. The erection of a new diaphone fog signalling apparatus .on Tiri Tiri Island, Hauraki Gulf, has been completed, and it will be in operation during foggy weather from to-day. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
