MIDHIRST TENNIS DANCE

GENERAL AND PERSONAL NEWS. A dance organised by the Midhirst Tennis Club was a success, being well patronised by dance enthusiasts. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss C. Griffin and partner. Mr. O’Donnell, Waitara, won a competition. Vinsen’s Ambassadors played the music. Mr. Platt and Mr. Castelli were masters of ceremonies. Miss C.~ Griffin has been the guest of Mrs. Jensen. » ■ Mr. W. Cooley has felt for a holiday at Wellington. Miss Farrell, Hamilton, is the guest cf Mr. and Mrs. F. Kowaleski. , Mr. and Mrs. J. Howard have returned from a holiday at Pukehoe. Mr. and Mrs. and Miss C. Schumacher have, returned form a short holiday at Tokaanu.
