ANNUAL MEETING OF UNION. (Special to Daily News.) f Taumarunui,. April 16. At the annual meeting of the King Country Rugby Union last night the following officers were elected: Patrons, Messrs. W. J. Broadfoot and F. Langstone, M.sP.; president, Mr. L. V. Carmine; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Johns, C. B. Lewis, E. Tapp. J. L. Robinson, D. R. Ingram and S. Thome; secretary, Mr. L. Mackenzie; treasurer, Mr. J. H. Lyhskey; auditor, Mr. W. H. Allen; selectors, Messrs. A. E. Rice and M. O. Friedlander; management committee, Messrs. J. Flanagan, J. H. Hardie, A. W. Joseph, W. Johns, Kaitieke and Maniapoto representatives to be elected; executive committee, Messrs. W. Johns, J. H. Lynskey, and the secretary; appointment board, Messrs. J. H. Lynskey and W. Johns; delegates to the New Zealand Rugby Union, Messrs. L. V. Carmine and F. Glasgow.' It was decided to hold the usual seven-a-side tournament at Taumarunui on June 3. The Ohura Sub-Union was granted permission to play a match with Maniapoto at Te Kuiti on May 29.
