DEPARTURE OF VESSEL DELAYED.

Dunedin, April 11.

The departure of the British tanker Oilreliance, which was due to sail yesterday for California, was delayed till this afternoon on account of the disappearance of a Chinese member of the crew. The police searched the city fruitlessly for him, and it is now necessary for the ship to deposit a £lOO bond under the Prohibited Immigrants Law.
