NO SIGN OF YACHT

SEARCH FOR THE KORRIGANE.

OWNER BIG BUSINESS MAN.

By Telegraph—Press Association, Auckland, April 9.

The French consul at Auckland, M. Joubert, this morning received a radio message from the Monterey, due at Suva to-day; “Nothing seen of French yacht Korrigane," The consul thereupon telephoned the Marine Department, Wellington, who advised that the Maui Pomare had already been diverted by radio on her voyage from Niue to Auckland to make a thorough search. The consul states that the French Government is greatly concerned, as the owner of the yacht, Count De Ganay, is a director of Schneider and Co., the French armament firm at Creuzot. The consul is in constant communication with Paris.
