PRIVATE DANCE AT HAWERA.

Mesdames H. M, Caselberg, A. M. Young, R- H. Leece, H. S. McWilliam, C. G. Trotter, G. J. Bayley and J. Robertson- were joint hostesses at a dance for which Mrs. Leece lent her home, the object being to assist Plunket funds. In the dance room the only decoration was a large bowl of bright-toned mixed blooms strikingly arranged on the mantel. There were over 100 dancers present, among whom were the following, the seven organisers and hostesses' being mentioned first:—Mrs. R. H. Leece, Killamey green taffetas, with rust red trimmings and accessories; Mrs. G. JBayley, pale blue flowered georgette, panelled in deep royal blue cire satin; Mrs. H. M. Caselberg, black chiffon velvet smartly relieved in white; Mrs. H. S. McWilliam, black silk spotted net, with bright floral coatee; Mrs. A. M. Young, carnation red moss-weave crepe, with plaid pleated finishings; Mrs. Robertson, deep wine coloured silk velvet; and Mesdames W. C. Fyfe, A. K- Fyson, J. Hawken (Mokoia), A; Bonetti, A. M. Winks, H. H. Bramwell, T. R. Overton, E. M. Hunter, R. S. Ward, H. W, Jones, W. M. Egglestone, A. Harrop, J. B. Rowe, J. J Pease, L. A. Ablett, G. Mann, L. Norman, C. O. Pratt, G. A. Duncan, F. B.
