EUCHRE PARTY-DANCE
GATHERING IN OAONUI HALL. The Ngatituhekerangi committee held its first Euchre party and dance in the Oaonui hall on Thursday, Mr. Roach being master of ceremonies. Music was played by the Oaonui string orchestra, with extras by Miss A. Coombe and Mr. L. A. Bosworth. Euchre prizes were won by Mrs. W. Luke, Mrs. J. Martin and Mrs.. Matapou and Mr. Rangimarama, Mr. M. Bishop, Messrs. J. Simpson and L. A. Bosworth tied for the men’s third prize, Mr. Bosworth winning the play-off. Lucky number prizes were won by Mrs. Coombe and Mr. W. A. Pope and a Monte Carlo waltz by Miss Luke and Mr. W. Okeroa. Supper was served under the supervision of Mesdames Tai Bishop, Roach, Manu, Mitchell, D. Ratahi, W. Luke, Stewart and Hohaia, Personal Item.
Mrs. Pat. Carey has returned to Inglewood after spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. M. Barrett, Kina Road..
