PERSONAL AND GENERAL. Mr. Charles Harding has returned after a fortnight’s holiday .in the Wanganui, Palmerston North and Hawkes Bay districts. Miss Betty Hollard is on a holiday visit to Auckland. Mr. G. Galland, Nelson, is. Visiting Kaponga and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Jones. Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Champtaloup left last week for Auckland, en route to Hastings, where they Will live in future. Miss D. Keenan, Hamilton, is the guest of Miss M. Keheley, Kuri Street. Mr. S. L. Palmer has returned after a holiday spent at Milford Sound and other scenic resorts. Allocations under No. 5 scheme this week are one A, two B, three C, three D, one E and one G class worker.
Vital statistics at Kaponga for February were nil as compared with five births, one death and one marriage for February, 1934. Renewed building activity has taken place at Kaponga recently. One new dwelling has just been completed and another is well under way. Internal structural alterations are being carried out at the Farmers’ Co-op. premises, Eltham Road.
