BREEDER’S OFFER ACCEPTED. An offer to permit the Stratford Jersey Club to hold a female sale on the same date as his own sale—the Friday of Jersey week—was made to the general committee of the club on Saturday by Mr. H. J. Kaye, Huinga, whose offer was accepted. An effort will be made to make the fixture an annual one. Mr. Kaye invited the club to hold a sale in conjunction with him on the Friday in Jersey week. He had the date booked, he said, and would have about 30 head to sell, but if the club cared to hold a club sale on the same day and at the same place it would be welcome. He knew the club had no date reserved; he could give a date and the benefit would be mutual. The offer was accepted and the club sale will be confined to yearlings and incalf heifers. Application will be made for the Friday in Jersey week as an annual fixture. The executive was recommended to consider an unreserved sale.
