MOTORING FATALITY

STRUCK BY MINISTER’S CAR. AUCKLAND PIONEER DEAD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Fatal injuries were received by Frederick Cossey, aged 88, Mount Albert, when he was knocked down by a car. Mr. Cossey was walking across New North Road on his way to the Mount Albert Methodist Church when he was struck by' a car driven by the Rev. Dr. J. J. North, who was c.. his way to take a service at Avondale. Mr. Cossey was taken into the church until the ambulance arrived. He received concussion and severe shock and his death occurred after his admission to the hospital. Mr. Cossey was a very well-known pioneer of the Drury district.
