KOHURATAHI V. WHANGAMOMONA.

A tennis match between Kohuratahi and Whangamomona in the h rs f found for the Vice-president’s Shield, played at Kohuratahi during the week-end, provided a close finish. The largest crowd of spectators seen on .the courts tor some time witnessed exciting games, the issue being in doubt until almost the last set, when Kohuratahi won by 13 sets to »- sets, and 116 games to 104, Results, Kohuratahi names mentioned first, are:— Men’s singles: E.
