It is almost certain that a general election will be held in the late autumn, says the Daily Mail’s political corres--1 lent. It is suggested polling should occur early in December. _ Cabinet Ministers and party, officials who have examined the situation have concluded that there is no object in waiting until 1936. They think the India Reform Bill will become law by October at the latest. The Housing Bill should also be passed by then. rr hey believe an attractive programme of reconstruction at England and Empire proposals could then be drawn up.
