CAR ABANDONED
EARLIER TAKEN FROM HAMILTON. MOTOR-CYCLIST KNOCKED OVER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, Last Night. Painful injuries were received by a motor-cyclist, M. S. Stott, aged 20, when he was knocked down by a motor-car and dragged some distance in Grey St., Hamilton East, last evening. The car continued on its way. Following inquiries by the police it has been ascertained that the car which knocked down Stott was one removed from Hamilton. The car was located abandoned at Cambridge this morning with the windscreen smashed. Splashes of blood inside the car indicated that the driver had been cut by the shattered glass. No arrest has yet been made.
