OMATA EUCHRE PARTY
The first, of a series of euchre parties was held in the Omata hall on Thursday evening. The prizewinners were: Ladies, Miss Norma Berridge 1, Mrs. J. Lynch and Mrs. L. George 2; men, Mr. C. Fox 1, Mr. C. Kendall 2. Dancing was held, the music being supplied by Miss Sanger and Miss Luxton. Several of the residents are trying opossum trapping this season, some good catches being reported. Mrs. Perry, Cambridge, and Mrs. Taylor are visiting their mother, Mrs. E. R. Bayly.
