SYSTEM OF PAYMENT
CHEESE BASIS DESIRED. JOLL SUPPLIERS’ RESOLUTION. “That the directors be recommended to make investigations into the possibilities of introducing a more equitable system of’payment so that each supplier would be paid on the cheese value of the milk supplied.” This motion was moved by Mr. R. C. Treweek and carried at the annual meeting of shareholders of the Joll Dairy Company yesterday. The chairman (Mr. A. C. Johnstone) said he could see no simple system. Personally, he would like to see something like this done, because he felt that the present method Was not right. The dilectors would take steps to see if there was anything in it.
