EUCHRE AND DANCE. The weekly euchre party and dance was held in the Puniho school on Friday evening. The ladies’ prize was won by Miss Jessie Tappin and the men’s prize by M . S. After supper dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by Mr. K. Manu. In a basketball match played at Puniho on Friday Okato school defeated Puniho by 11 goals to 7; The Rugby, game between Okato and a combined Warea and Puniho schools team was drawn, each side scoring two unconverted tries. Personal. Miss M. Schuler, Switzerland, is staying with her sister, Mrs. A. Kalin. Mr. and Mrs. Richardson, Wanganui, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hannah. Mrs. K. Smith, Hawera, is visiting her sister, Miss I. Browne.
