A month-old baby boy, accompanied by hi? mother and a nurse, was among the passengers who flew from London to Paris in the air liner Heracles. The baby, for which a special ticket was issued at a reduced fare, travelled in a cradle placed on a seat in the saloon. In the mountains along the Yangtze Valley, China, thousands of families whose houses are built on the side of the steep, high ccliffs keep their children tethered to the doorposts so that they cannot fall off the platforms to the rocks hundreds of feet below.
