The Taupata arrived at New Plymouth yesterday from Tarakohe with 75 tons of cement for discharge. The vessel sailed again for Tarakohe in the afternoon. (Cock and Co.) ■ The Opihi will load at Nelson to-day and is due at New Plymouth on Saturday. She is to sail the same day for Westport after discharging 420 tons of general cargo. (U.S.S. Co.) The Totara is to load at Timaru today for New Plymouth, via Lyttelton and Wellington, and is due on July 21. (U.S.S. Co.) The Holmglen is expected to load at Wanganui to-day for New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth on Saturday. (Hooker Bros.) The John will load at Timaru tovia Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton and Wanganui on July 21. (Hooker Bros.) The Kini left Dunedin last night for New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, and is due on Tuesday. (U.S.S. Co.) MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. KIWITEA LOADING. The Kiwitea left Adelaide on July 11 and is to leave Hobart on Monday for New Zealand ports. The vessel is due at New Plymouth about July 20 to discharge Australian cargo. THE PORT DUNEDIN. The Port Dunedin is due at Suva from London to-morrow to unload cargo for Fiji. The vessel also has cargo for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is scheduled to reach Lyttelton about July 23. She will load at Port Chalmers, Timaru, Wellington, - New Plymouth, Auckland and Napier, and she is due at New Plymouth on August 5. From Napier she is to be dispatched for London, via Dakar, on August 16.

CAMBRIDGE AT OPUA. • The Cambridge is due at Opua at day- J break to-day in the course of her New . Zealand loading itinerary and is due at Auckland on Sunday. The vessel left New Plymouth on Wednesday after loading 23,750 freight carcases of meat and 1000 boxes of butter. She is to leave Wellington finally for west coast ports of the United Kingdom on July 27. MESS TABLE GOSSIP. Captain W. S. Mason, master of the C. and D. Line motor-ship Port Dunedin, at present en route from London to Lyttelton, was invalided ashore at Curacao. The chief officer, Captain A. G. Rhind, is now in command of the vessel. MATAKANA TO LOAD. The Matakana, in ballast from Glasgow to New Zealand, is expected to commence loading at New Plymouth on August 1. She will lift 13,000 freight carcases of. meat, 12,300 boxes of butter . and 3800 crates of cheese, completing at Wanganui, Napier, Gisborne and Wellington.
