ODDFELLOWS AT OKATO

The fortnightly meeting of the LoyaT Okato Oddfellows’ Lodge was held m the Hemp ton Hall on Monday; There was a -big attendance. N.G. Bro. Slater, who presided, welcomed immediate past district grand master Bro. Walton, and members of ; the Loyal Rahotu Lodge. The presiding officers initiated four new members. In response-to a challenge members ot the Rahotu Lodge played Okato for honours in ping pong and euchre. The Rahotu players decisively defeated the less-experienced Okato players by 6 ping pong games to 0. Euchre results, however,- were equally divided. Supper was served.
