AUSTRALIA SEEKS TREATY.
CONSULTATION WITH BRITAIN.
By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Canberra, July 11. Strong representations were recently made to the Commdnwealth Government against what was described as Japanese dumping. The Government, according to the Sun, intends to open negotiations for trade agreements with Japan, suggesting that as Britain’s interests are so deeply involved agreements should in future be three-party in character. The Government anticipates.the British views on the subject will be forthcoming shortly through the resident Minister in London, Mr. S. M. Bruce.
