CONDITION IN UNITED STATES. WORST FOR FORTY : YEARS. By Teleigraph—Press Assn.^—Copyright Washington, July 10. On Monday the crop reporting board reported that the first six months of the year had been less favourable for prop production than any similar period in 50 years. Wheat production as at July 1 was estimated at 495,681,000 bushels. With average w ea ther during the rest of the growing season the crop will be the smallest since 1893. Normally the country produces 850,000,000 bushels.
