WINE TRADE CRITICISED
PRODUCTION IN AUSTRALIA MISMANAGEMENT ALLEGED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright London, July 9. Australia’s business methods regarding wine are severely criticised in the Southard Company’s- monthly circular, which states that the Australian trade is being badly mismanaged. Production and shipments are not being controlled as they should be, consequently quality is not consistent. Prices are cut to such an extent that business is fast becoming unprofitable both to shippers and distributors.
