DECREASING SOUTHERLY WIND.

The weather will be fine except on the east coast There will be cold temperatures with some severe frosts in the South Island.

An intense anti-cyclone is centred today east of the South Island, while a slight cyclone is located north-east of Cape Maria van Diemen. There will be strong but decreasing southerly to southeasterly winds about and north of Cook Strait. Seas will be rather rough on the west coast of the North Island.
