Eight gold nuggets worth £5 9s and belonging to Joseph Davis were alleged to have been stolen by George Ling, who appeared before Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., at New Plymouth yesterday. The theft was said to have occurred at Waiuta, near Greymouth, about November 5, 1932. Ling, who had been arrested on warrant by Constable F.
