WORLD’S TALLEST MAN
SEVEN FEET SIX INCHES. A young man who at the age of 20 is 7ft. 6in. in height is expected to become the tallest man in the world. Local doctors who have examined him say they believe he will reach nine feet before he stops growing. The man is Hans Shlihter, of Veliki Bechkerek, Jugoslavia, and his embition is to become a film star. At 16 he was a normal boy of sft. 4in. Since then he has grown with ever-increasing speed. In the last six months he has gained six inches. If this rate is continued until he is 24—and doctors believe it will—he will then be 9ft. tall. Hans is soon to serve his nine months in the Jugoslav Army. He will then be the tallest man in the army, and will have special uniforms made for him. It takes six and a-half yards of material to make him a suit. All his brothers and relatives are normal in height
