FITZROY KNOX CHURCH

REV. C. C. SEDGWICK HONOURED.

As a token of his charges’ appreciation of his two years’ ministry in the district, the Rev. C. C. Sedgwick was on Saturday night the guest of honour at a social given by members of Knox Presbyterian Church at Fitzroy, and Was presented with a signed letter of appreciation enclosed in leather binding. Dr. P, C. Davie, Miss Graham, Miss E. M'. Dowling and Miss E. Dingle all spoke of Mr. Sedgwick’s fine work in the Knox Church and district. Mrs. Sedgwick was presented with a bouquet The presentation was made at a social, the programme for which was arranged by Miss E. M. Dowling. Items were given by the junior orchestra, Mrs. H. Avery (song) and Mrs. B. B. Weller (piano solos and accompaniments). An amusing farce was arranged, by Mr. J. A. McQueen r and ’ community singing was led by Miss. Dowling. The decorations and the bouquet were arranged'by'Mrs. Clow, and supper was served by a committee of ladies.
