With reference to a report of the annual meeting of the Inglewood Plunket Society, in which it was stated that “Mrs. Evans offered to act as secretary,” Mrs. Evans states that this is not quite correct. She had acted as secretary arid treasurer for eleven years, and at the annual meeting she declined re-nomina-tion as secretary, but was asked to continue as treasurer.
Attention is directed to the specially advertised unreserved entry of a purebred Romney flock to be sold at the Inglewood sale next Wednesday. The vendor is Miss Paterson, Tarata, who has established a herd of pedigree Jersey cattle and in consequence has decided to sell her flock of purebred Romney sheep.
