The Holmglen loaded at Dunedin on Friday, Lyttelton yesterday and will call at Wellington to-day and Wanganui tomorrow, and is scheduled to arrive at New Plymouth on Thursday, proceeding later to Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.). The John is to load at Dunedin on Thursday, Timaru on Friday, Lyttelton on Saturday, Wellington on March 20, Wanganui on March 21, arriving at New Plymouth on March 22. (Hooker Bros.) The Opihi arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday morning with 620 tons of transhipments ex Wainui, Monowai, Canadian Victor and Canadian Scottish. The vessel sailed yesterday for Wellington and Dunedin, where she will load again for New Plymouth on Thursday. (U.S.S. Co.) The Totara arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday with 345 tons of coal to discharge. She will leave New Plymouth to-day for Westport. (U.S.S. Co.). The Hauturu sailed for Wanganui on Friday night and will later return to Onehunga, whence she is due to-morrow at New Plymouth. (Northern Co.). The Canopus is due at New Plymouth from Westport to-morrow with a large quantity of coal for discharge. The vessel will sail later for Auckland. (Westport Coal Co.) MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. PORT HARDY ARRIVES. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hardy arrived at New Plymouth from Newcastle last night to load 10,200 boxes of butter, 5900 crates of cheese and 15,000 freight carcases of meat. She will complete at Wellington, Picton, Napier and Auckland, clearing the last-named port on April 2 for London, via Montevideo. Captain W. Enwright is in command of the Port Hardy and his officers are: First officer, Mr. E. Lawrey; second, Mr. L. Asser; third, Mr. 'F. Elgar; fourth, Mr. J. Picton; chief engineer, Mr. W. Carrick; second, Mr. H. L. Quine; third, Mr. J. Proudfoot; fourth, Mr. R. Rodpath; fifth, Mr. A. T. Graham; sixth, Mr. J. Wise; first refrigerating engineer, Mr. J. Thomson; second, Mr. G. Greaves; chief steward, Mr. A .Hales; wireless operator, Mr. G. Jones. -The Port Hardy carries a crew of 78 and has two passengers on board. THE MATAKANA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana, which left New Plymouth on Wednesday after loading 10,000 freight carcases of meat, 4000 boxes of butter and 6000 crates of cheese, arrived at Auckland on Friday morning to continue loading. She is to sail at daybreak tomorrow for Wanganui, Wellington and Bluff to complete loading. From Bluff she is to be dispatched for London. INTERCOLONIAL CARGOES. Two intercolonial vessels are scheduled to discharge at New Plymouth. The Kartigi is scheduled to leave Adelaide today and Melbourne on Friday for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth and Tarakohe. She is due at Auckland about March 24. The Kalingo is to leave Newcastle on March 29 for New Plymouth, Wellington and Gisborne. She has 300 tons of coal and a quantity of timber for discharge at New Plymouth. MIDDLESEX REPORTS'. The Federal Company has received a further wireless message from the Middlesex, in ballast from Falmouth, reporting. that she expects to reach Gisborne at daybreak next Saturday to commence English loading. She is due at New Plymouth at the end of this month to load 16,000 freight carcases of meat, 2900 boxes of butter and 4500 crates of cheese. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
