EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. A very successful euchre pqrty and dance was held in the Kapuni hall on Thursday by the Kapuni Ladies’ Division, supported by the hall society. The hall was beautifully decorated for the occasion, the floor being in excellent order, and a dainty supper was supplied by the ladies of the committee. Visitors came from Manaia, Kaponga and the surrounding, districts. The winners in the euchre were: Ladies, Mrs. Evans (Kaponga) 1, Miss W. Cox 2; men’s, Mr. Dalton 1, Mr. D. Harvey 2. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr. and Mrs. J. Kerrisk (Kapuni), Numerous extras were played by Mrs. Evans, Mrs. J. Cameron and Mr. B. Allison. Amongst those present were Mesdames Kissick, Wheeler, Bickford, A. Allen, Cameron, Gamlin, Harper, L. Allison, B. Allison, Crozier, C. Paterson, J. Paterson, Gibson and Harrison, Misses Bickford (2), W. Cox, Wheeler (2), Trainer, Allison (2), Behl (2), Paterson (2), Willis, Rutland
