ZINGARA SENTENCED TO DIE

MURDER of MAYOR OF CHICAGO. ABUSE SHRIEKED AT JUDGE. By Telegraphy-Press Assn-Copyright, Miami, March -10. Guiseppe Zingara was to-day sentenced to death by the electric chair for the murder of Mr. Anton Cermak, Mayor of Chicago, following the attempt to assassinate President Roosevelt. After Judge Kly O. Thompson had passed sentence Zingara shouted: “You give me electric chair! I’m no afraid of that chair. You’re one of the capitalists. You is a crook man to put me in the electric chair. I’m no care.” Deputies rushed Zingara out as he shrieked the last sentence. H The spectators -were held in. the courtroom until the prisoner was removed to an elevator carrying him to the gaol. Under \ the Florida law the execution date will be fixed by the Governor and officials of the State penitentiary.
