NEW TIME FOR SIXTY YARDS DASH. UNITED STATES PERFORMANCE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 11.30 p.m. Indiana, March 11. Ralph Metcalf, of Marquette University, a sprinter, eclipsed the world’s record for the 60 yards dash in 6 1-10 seconds, a tenth of a second better than Loren Murchison, who established the previous record in 1923.
