UNSINKABLE AEROPLANE
SUCCESS OF BRITISH DESIGN. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright London, March 10. An unsinkable Fairey bomber, designed by the Royal Air Force fleet air-arm, was successfully demonstrated at Feltham. There are special flotation bags fitted inside the fuselage. The pflot merely pulls a string and a rubber dinghy emerges from the top wmg fully inflated. At the conclusion of the tests a cattie ship struck the plane, which remained afloat and unharmed.
