VISIT OF CHINA MISSIONARY.

The fortnightly church service on Sunday evening at Mr. Fleming’s house was conducted by a missionary from China, Miss Graham, and a Chinese friend. Bible Class was held on Thursday evening. The Frankley Road Undenominational Sunday school will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a social in the Hurworth hall this evening Residents of the district had a splendid view of the display of searchlights from the H.M.S. Dunedin this wek. Messrs. Simpson and Webster won several prizes for exhibits in the New Plymouth show, for which the Frankley Road district supplied a number of waitresses and helpers.
