FOUR AEROPLANES ORDERED

ONE FOR NE\y PLYMOUTH CLUB. DEFENCE DEPARTMENT’S HELP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 22. Orders for four aeroplanes, three for clubs and one for the Defence Department, have been placed by the Government. For the clubs they are of the De Haviland Moth type, similar to those already in use. The Air Force machine Will be a modern Fairey and will be based at Hobsonville for use in naval cooperation work. The club machines are for New Plymouth, Marlborough and Southland. In making the announcement Mr. J. G. Cobbe expressed regret that the Government could not do more for the clubs, but its financed were very limited and it was doing its best under the Circumstances.
