PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING,

WALKER V. DEMEIR AL. After considerable negotiations the New Plymouth Wrestling Association has been successful in matching the British champion (George Walker) with Harry Demetral, who . will wrestle eight 10-minute rounds at the Coronation Hall, New Plymouth, bn Saturday night, November 12. The appearance of George Walker alone is quite sufficient to warrant a bumper house, but to see him wrestle, as no doubt he can, one feels sure the stadium at the Coronation Hall on Saturday night will be filled to capacity. Realising the importance of this match, the management has arranged for Gordon Hutter, Auckland, to act' as the official referee.. Walker has only once been defeated this season, when he lost to Karasick at Auckland on points, and the following week Demetral - defeated Karasick at Christ-, church on points. What will happen on Saturday night? Will it be a T Boston crab, slam, flying tackle or hog tie? Tiie professional contest will preceded by good amateur bouts. The seatinor accommodation will be arranged as in the past, which is second to none in the Dominion. Popular prices will be charged for this most important match. Box plan and day sales are now available ’at Chum Roberts, tobacconist, Devon Street, New Plymouth.. . ■* ■ t
