It is reported that an option has been given by one of the parties over th© claim on the Kawarau River from which during the past few weeks rich returns of gold have been obtained. It is understood that the price at which the option has been given is £15,000, the vendors to receive 15 per cent, of the gold won. Th© option is for six months, renewable for a further term of six months.
