TWO OTHERS GRAVELY HURT
RAILWAY CROSSING SMASH
CAR COMPLETELY WRECKED
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 8.50 p.m. Melbourne, July 24. Three naval ratings were killed and two others were seriously injured in a car smash at a railway level crossing at Hastings this afternoon. The injured men are likely to die. The car was smashed to pieces. It was travelling to Melbourne from the Flinders naval base.
The identity of the victims has not been ascertained.
