NO RECALL OF GOVERNOR
MR. LANG’S CLAIM REJECTED.
LITTLE SYMPATHY IN WHITEHALL.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.
London, June 8. It can be accepted that Whitehall, having considered Mr. Lang’s case for the recall of the Governor-General, which Mr. Willis, the Agent-General, presumably presented, will not consider recalling Sir Philip Game, whose constitutional attitude is definitely approved of. It is obvious that Mr. Lang does not possess the sympathy of the British Labour Government.
