ADELAIDE MAN’S INVENTION.

COMPLETE SUCCESS CLAIMED.-

Successful tests were made to-day with a device which entirely eliminates gear-changing in motor-cars and other vehicles and which is predicted to revolutionise motoring. The inventor is Howard F. Hobbs, aged 28, the son of a market gardener at Paradise, near Adelaide. His experiments occupied 10 years in his father’s farm sheds. He will leave for England tomorrow fti order to try to place the invention on the market. The invention has been tried on a British “baby” car for thousands of miles and ha’a been completely successful.
