NEWTON KING, LTD.

SEED, MANURE AND PRODUCE

DEPARTMENT.

“A (splendid exhibit,” was the verdict heard, on all sides regarding the fine display of farm roots and other fodder plant* made by Newton King, Ltd. They are shown to the best advantage. A few years ago the firm was fortunate in securing the sole agency for Taranaki of Sutton and Sons’ seeds, and, judging by the roots shown, they were wise in their choice.

. A very fine lot of Sutton’s specially -•tected Superlative swede immediately catch the eye, and although over twenty pounds weight, they show quality right through. Grandmaster, Magnum Bonum, Monarch, and. several other kings of swedes are also shown. A very fine lot of mangolds and soft turnips stand out prominently, as well as other fodder roots suitable for farming operations. The well-known Sterling brand of seeds and manures are neatly staged in neat printed calico bags, the whole making a very striking and educational exhibit which visitors to. the show should make a point of seeing. Certainly their time could not be spent to better advantage.
