Lovin'* Cup, which ran second iu the Orakei Hurdles at Ellerslie to-day, was accidentally destroyed in mistake for Glen Maree, which injured itself so badly on Saturday that the veterinary surgeon ordered its destruction. ° It was a case of mistaken identity. Both were owned by M. WelLs, Cambridge. Loving Cup was a five-year-old black gelding by Quin Abbey—Shellshock. As a three-year-old it had five thirds and last season one third.
