PUBLIC SCHOOL IMMIGRANT.

DISHONEST STREAK SHOWN.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June S.

Among the prisoners sentenced to-day was Harry Valentine Rousham, aged 25, who came to New Zealand a short time ago under an immigration scheme. He was sentenced to eighteen months for forgery. Counsel said he was an English public school boy and had been incited to the offence by poverty. Mr. Justice Smith said Rousham had two previous convictions and had indicated that he had a dishonest streak in his nature.
