CRUISE IN SOUTH SEAS
’WARSHIPS’ MOVEMENTS.
Auckland, June 7.
H.M.S. Laburnum is to leave Auckland at 11 o’clock to-morrow morning on an extensive cruise to the South Sea Islands. She will be absent from New Zealand for about three months, and will visit a large number of islands. She will have on board the High Commissioner for the Western Pacific, who will make a tour of inspection of the outlying islands and will return by the warship to Suva. _ The Diomede and Veronica will al.-m leave this month on cruises to the South Sea Islands.
