COMMITTAL FOR SENTENCE.

Wellington, Feb. 18. Zoe McCutcheon Pahl was committed for sentence to-day on a charge of bigamy to which she pleaded guilty. It was stated that she lived with her husband till the end of last November and then, following a quarrel, went off with a man named Fisher whom she had bigamously married. The husband, in evidence, said he had taken his wife back and they were now living together. His wife was advised to notify the police and to his knowledge did so. Evidence that aesused was of good character was given.
