DECREASE IN LATEST FIGURE FIVE HUNDRED FEWER IN WEEK. BIG DECLINE AT WELLINGTON. \ By Telesraph--— Pmm AsweiatiOn. Wellington, February 18. The unemployment figures for the week ended February 9, which were announced yesterday by the Minister of Labour, the Hon. S. G. Smith, show a decrease of 554 when compared with the returns for the preceding seven days. The total number of unemployed is r»iven as 17,002, as against 17,556 for the previous week.
