FAIR AND WARM WEATHER.

Wellington, Last Night. An anti-cyclone still covers New Zealand. but a depression of moderate intensity is now moving on to the southwest. In the Tasman Sea the winds are becoming northerly generally, and freshening in and south of Cook Strait. Seas are smooth to moderate, but are rising in Cook and Foveaux Straits. Seas are smooth in the northern portion of the Tasman and moderate to rather rough in the southern portion. The weather should be still fair to fine in most districts, with warm temperatures, and later scattered showers in Westland and about Foveaux Strait.
