HER ARRIVAL UNEXPECTED.
By Telegraph. —Freis Association. ' . 'Wellington, Feb. 17. Ah arrival, to-day unexpected and unannounced , Was tliat of the yacht Oimara, en route from Australia to New Zealand. She sailed up Wellington Harbour this morning. , < • . Th» Secretary of the General Post office had advised that the following message was received from the Cnief postmaster at Nelson: “Ligh J iper at Cape Farewell reported late Iqst night that a ketch-rjgged yacht passed elope in yesterdav afternoon and set a Course for Wellington with a good breeze blowl,lThis vessel has now beeii identified as the Oimara. ' Throughout the voyage head, winds ligd seas were experienced. The seas were fairly heavy and the weather wqs moderate till three days from New Zealand, wheti conditions became worse. Conditions in Cook Strait were pleasant.
