The Opihi loaded at Dunedin last Wednesday for Nelson and New Plymouth, via usual ports. She is due at New Plymouth to-day and will return south via Nelson and Wellington to Dunedin, where she is scheduled to reload on February 23. (U.S.S. Co.) The Hauturu arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning with 100 tons of general cargo and sailed in the afternoon for Onehunga. (Northern Co.) MIRRABOOKA THIS MORNING. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., advise that the Trans-Atlantic Steamship Company’s motor vessel Mirrabooka left Wellington at 3.5 p.m. yesterday and is scheduled to arrive at New Plymouth at six o’clock this morning from Welling-, ton. After disecharging 65 tons of motor spirit and 250 tons of general cargo the vessel will proceed later in the day to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. MATAROA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw, Savill Company advises that its liner Mataroa, at present discharging and loading at Auckland, is to leave there next Monday for New Plymouth and Wellington to fill up. She is due at Wellington on February 28 and is scheduled to clear port finally at daybreak on March 11 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. The vessel is scheduled to arrive at New Plymouth on February 25 to lift 5000 boxes of ' butter and 9000 crates of cheese. HAURAKI DELAYED. / / ' The Hauraki has been further delayed at Lyttelton and was to sail at one o’clock yesterday afternoon for Wellington, New Plymouth, Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports. The vessel is due at New Plymouth at the end of the week to discharge transpacific cargo. TAIROA -WITH ”SLAG. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa is expected to sail from Auckland for New Plymouth on Thursday to complete unloading basic slag from Antwerp. The vessel will thus be due at New Plymouth about Saturday with 1675 tons of Antwerp slag. ' SURREY’S MOVEMENTS. \ The Federal Company’s vessel Surrey is now to leave Wellington to-day for Port Chalmers and Bluff to complete her Homeward loading. PORT FREMANTLE COMPLETING. •The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ship Port Fremantle is due at Auckland from Gisborne on Friday to complete loading New Zealand produce for. England. She is scheduled to sail for London, via Panama, next Tuesday afternoon. The vessel carries a frozen meat and dairy produce cargo from New Plymouth. WARSHIPS SAIL. The warships Dunedin and Diomede were due to leave Auckland for Russell last evening, the Dunedin at 5.30 o’clock and the Diomede 10 minutes later. Both cruisers will remain at Russell until February 28. Afterward the Dunedin will proceed to Sydney, en route to England to refit, and the Diomede will proceed on a cruise ’to New Zealand ports.
