Rangitikei Racing Club nominations closed on Monday night, and, judging by the response from owners and trainers, the meeting to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 4 and 5, will be a successful one. The total nominations are 262 for the 14 races, as compared with 267 for the 16 events at last year’s meeting. ~ Handicaps are due to make their appearance on Monday next, February 23, and 1 acceptances for all first-day events will close on Friday, February 27.
