A youth . ngmed Archiblad Dunford, apprenticed to the Riecarton trainer L. Murray Aynsley, was killed during training hours this morping. He was riding Kakara when the filly backed him off. The lad’s foot caught in the stirrup and he was dragged some during which he was severely kicked. He died shortly afterwards from itijuries.
